K2: THE DEVIL'S SMOKE

Few peaks on Earth evoke such fear and awe as K2. Standing sentinel at the junction of Pakistan and China, it's a gigantic wall that has claimed more than upwards of 75 mountaineers. It's earned its grim nickname, "The Devil's Smoke," due to the treacherous conditions it presents. Climbers brave winds that can scourge at speeds exceeding 90 knots,
